Hello! My name is Dorrith and in the year 2000 I started practising yoga and never stopped. During these years I turned from student into a yoga teacher. Graduated in 2008 as an International Vijñāna Yoga Teacher (1000 RYS academic hrs.), I have been teaching yoga for more than 9 years now. In addition to Vijñana Yoga I teach: Yin, Yin/Yang, Restorative, Hatha and Mindfulness yoga.
In my classes you learn how to work from inside out. This relates to my learnings from Vijñāna yoga: “when inner clarity is revealed through personal experience”. Simply put: true knowledge comes from inside, by your own experience. Every day your body tells you another story, I help you to read this story and work with it. After the class you feel refreshed, peaceful and full of vitality.
My inspiration? “…Every class is unique, each time it’s fascinating again to work with a group and see how we can allow the energy to flow and find inner peace at the same time, people go home relaxed and energised, with a smile on their face, that’s a gift each time again..”.
In addition to yoga, I teach meditation. By meditation we become silent and something becomes apparent that has always been there. By practise you don’t become a different person, you become the person you have always been. In my classes I teach you different techniques: Mindfulness, Mantra, Pranayama, Visualisation and Metta meditation. As I have clairvoyant capabilities, I always sense at the beginning of the class what the group needs. For example inner peace or reflection or may it be regeneration and revitalising the body and mind, what is required by the group we will focus on accordingly.
