The Basics of Yoga

The beginner workshop is for all yogis and future yogis that like to have a deeper understanding of the effects of yoga on our body and mind.
Learn the fundamentals to find your own proper alignment, and create a solid foundation for your practice.

During this one-day workshop Suze shares with you the theory behind the effects of yoga and takes you on a journey through your own body. You will explore the different postures in detail and learn the alignment principles for the standing postures, forward folds and backbends, which allow you to create a safe and progressive yoga practice. The basic knowledge you have after the workshop will increase the benefits of your weekly classes.

Suze has been teaching yoga since 2007. Her teaching style is fluid with attention for alignment, the breath and space for adjustments for your unique body. She has studied Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Prana Flow® Yoga and loves the alignment principles of Anusara® yoga. Besides teaching yoga, Suze is a Psychologist and offers coaching in combination with yoga.
