Each month Suze explores a different theme, experiencing self healing practices at the start and then moving into deep hip-openers. The masterclasses offer the opportunity to take your practice to the next level, while starting your Saturday with a open body and a nurtured mind.

The masterclasses are designed to take you deeper. We take our time to explore the theme of the class and apply different tools like alignment, knowledge of the elements, pranayama and meditation techniques that take you on a journey within. You will learn and gain practical knowledge that you can apply to your practice on and off the mat.

Saturday January 27th from 12:00-13:30

Winter can make you feel more tired and disconnected from your natural energy sources. Lack of sunlight, staying indoors more and less physical exercise all contribute to this and need to be balanced. Your yoga practice can play an important role in this and support you during this time of year.

In this Masterclass Suze will guide you through a practice that combines an energizing asana practice that focuses on getting the energy flowing again in your body. This will be combined with rejuvenating inversions that both calm the nervous system and boost the energy levels and immune system of your body. The asana practice will be followed with a nourishing relaxation and meditation that allows you to integrate the practice and go home feeling fully nourished.

Saturday February 10th from 12:00-13:30

There is nothing more valuable than the ability to give yourself the deeply nourishing relaxation that you need. This masterclass opens a toolbox full of proven practices that allow you to take relaxation and recovery to a whole new level.

Suze will offer you a sweet slow flow practice that allows you to feel your body more deeply, consciously breathing into those parts that gently need to be seduced to let go and open up. The asana part of the class will be followed by a 20 minute Yoga Nidra practice. You will enter the magic space between being asleep and awake, relaxing and restoring deeply.

Saturday March 3rd from 12:00-13:30

Winter can make you want to curl up on the couch with a blanket and a hot choco. It is the Kapha season, making us crave more heavy foods, feel like staying home, moving less and sleeping more. With lack of daylight we might even have the winter blues.

Luckily there is a medicine in the form of a Kapha balancing yoga practice! During this masterclass Suze will guide you through a dynamic yoga practice that gets the energy flowing again in your body, warms you up from the inside out and wakes up your digestive fire. You will explore a variation of backbends, corework and fluid Vinyasa sequences, all topped off with a nice and deep savasana!

Saturday April 7th from 12:00-13:30

As we are leaving the Winter behind, it is time to let go of what we no longer need, creating space for new seeds to be planted and life to grow.

In this masterclass Suze invite you to include Sankalpa (a higher intention) to your practice. As we get our body moving, we apply the asana practice to strengthen our Sankalpa. Through grounded, yet challenging asanas we gently push our boundaries. Waking up our body and mind to it’s manifesting power as we plant the seeds for the seasons that follow.

Saturday May 12th 12:00-13:30

Everything in the world, including our own bodies, consists of different amounts of the 5 Elements: ether, air, fire, water and earth.

Every yoga class also consists of a symphony of these 5 Elements. In this class Suze explains what the 5 Elements are and how they effect each other. You can apply this knowledge to your yoga practice and daily life.

During the asana practice you will get to experience the 5 Elements and how they build on each other. This class will have a focus on the elements fire and water; a dynamic and energizing class that will get you ready for the rest of the day!

Saturday June 30th from 12:00-13:30

Core strength and awareness are fundamental parts of a sustainable yoga practice. They play an important role in lower back health, mastering more advanced poses, alignment, and healthy posture. To create more core awareness and apply your core strength both on and off the mat, it is important to understand the anatomy of your core and how to train it in ways that reach well beyond crunches. In this Masterclass Suze will explain the anatomy of the core, discuss the (health) benefits of a strong core and the difference between a six-pack and functional core strength. The theory will be applied in an asana practice that is designed to access the deeper layers of your core, developing body awareness and core strength that will support your practice as a whole.
