The main component of Ashtanga Yoga: Unraveling the Vinyasas of the Primary Series

Do you ever feel like moving onto the next asana, without paying attention to the place where you’re at, between the asanas? Vinyasa means breathing and movement system. Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga is the practice of yoga where we pay attention to each moment, each breath and vinyasa. Each movement, means one breath. This can be seen as an interface that keeps you in the present moment while moving. The purpose of vinyasa is internal cleansing. Breathing and moving together while performing asanas makes the blood thinner and helps to cleanse the body. If the method of vinyasa is followed, the body becomes healthy and strong.

In this course we thoroughly investigate the different Vinyasas of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. This will help you to stay more present in your practice, as well for Self-practise as for any other guided yoga class. 

The program will contain a break up of the Primary Series of Ashtanga yoga: 
1. The Standing Sequence
2. The Seated Sequence
3. The Finishing Sequence
4. Full Primary Series
