Unlocking Creativity ๑ Yoga & Mindfulness

In this class, Ninon, who herself is a professional artist, takes you on a little tour towards your own center, and hopes to inspire you to free your inner artist.

We will use several techniques. We will use Tibetan Yoga, meditation and written exercises with paper and pencil. Maybe there is some creative activity you have wanted to start for a long time, and somehow you do not get round to it. With the exercises you hopefully get some insight what to do about that.

» TIBETAN YOGA

Lu Jong, Tibetan yoga, is a form of Meditation in Movement; it opens up our body, our heart and our mind.
When we are open, we feel connected, not only to ourselves but also to nature and to other living beings. Sometimes we feel as if ideas are 'given' to us, from somewhere in the universe or from deep down inside of us.
Lu Jong helps us to release tension in our body and in our mind. With special movements and breathing exercises we open up our channels and release blocks. Relaxation helps us to let go of fear, clinging, and effort. The way we breathe is very much connected to the way we think. Lu Jong uses bodywork as vehicle to calm down our thoughts and emotions.
This way we can feel more space for new possibilities and inspiration.

» MEDITATION - ONE POINT FOCUS

Then we will do a Tibetan mindfulness training for focus and concentration. Focus is very important to realize your wishes.

» WRITE DOWN NOTES

After this we will use paper and pencil to make several notes. We will make lists for our own inspiration, we will get homework to do, we will try to get a more clear idea about our wishes. We might even tell each other about our experience when we want to start to make anything creative, like writing, music, art, or other creative processes. This way we may see many of us share the same difficulties and joy in allowing to express ourselves.

In this class we wear comfortable clothes for the yoga and maybe bring a notebook and pen in case you want to write down your ideas.

This class is suitable for all levels.
