Yoga for me, is a way to be still and explore.
I try to inspire myself every time again, with new books, trainings, classes and of course my own practice. And I hope with all these learnings I can give this back to the students. I am very interested in the chakra theory and Traditional Chinese Medicine, what I try to translate in most of my classes. Coming year I will be assisting in the Yin Techer Training from Hellen van der Harten in Amsterdam.
My classes are either a combination of flowing around and staying still, or exploring the various poses in stillness during my yin classes. Through the practice I would like you to start to pay attention, going into the depths of our bodies and our mind. Standing still in all these various levels of ourselves to eventually help you through the rest of the day. The poses are there to make you stronger and more flexible, which is a very nice part, however I think the becoming aware of everything we are, think, do and feel is much more important for me.
