During my Psychology studies I started practicing yoga, which turned out to be the perfect practice for me to also find balance and healing through my body. Since then I studied different forms of yoga, coaching and personal development. I teach yoga since 2006 and my style is fluid with a lot of attention for alignment and the breath. Since 2010 I unite my passion for yoga, personal development and travel in my yoga retreat company Global Flow.
Yoga is the foundation for everything I do. It is my personal practice that I try to integrate in my life on a daily basis, both on and off the mat. Yoga represents a deepening of insight in my self and my experiences, connection, authenticity, compassion and sincerely being present for whatever life presents me with. This is the essence that I try to share in my classes.
My yoga education started with a 200 hour Ashtana Vinyasa teacher training with Hilary Brown and Katiza Ivulic at Yoga Moves, Utrecht. I continued with another 200 hour Ashtange Vinyasa Teacher Training with Katiza Ivulic. After that I studied Prana Flow® Yoga with Shiva Rea and Twee Merrigan. The past five years my studies focussed more on deepening my knowledge about alignment and anatomy, mostly through Anusara® yoga with Barbra Noh.
I teach Hatha Vinyasa Yoga and Slow Flow classes at The Conscious Club
