On Tuesday, November 26, at 16:05 Amsterdam time there will be a new moon in the star sign of Sagittarius. This last new moon before the solar eclipse on December 26 brings above all rebellion and chaotic change. After we have been blessed with the positive energy brought to us by the last full moon in Taurus that means that we have to be a little bit careful now.

New Moon Meaning

A new moon always represents the end of one lunar cycle and marks the beginning of new 28 days cycle. Typically, the sun conjunct moon provides us with an invigorating burst of energy, motivation and initiative.

Therefore, the new moon can be seen as time of rebirths and new beginnings. It is the perfect time to question old beliefs, behaviours and habits and to search for new ways to make progress or take the first step of a completely new journey.

Mars opposite Uranus brings causes anger and rebellion

The Sagittarius new moon is influenced by the planetary aspects of Mars being opposite Uranus which presents one of the most disruptive influences in astrology. It can leave people feeling angry, impulsive and rebellious.

In light of Mars opposite Uranus, it feels difficult to relax and let go, due to the fact that our normal creative outlets feel rather blocked.

Sun quincunx Uranus brings tension and anxiety

Additionally, the sun quincunx Uranus provokes sensations of tension and anxiety. Both planetary aspects make you feel a buildup of energy, which often feels exciting, but can also be very scary and overwhelming.

During this new moon, any form of Irritation and unexpected changes can easily result in impulsive and rebellious actions because we intuitively try to break free from responsibilities and obligations that we feel like we cannot cope with right now. But instead of finding release, this rebellious energy causes more likely personal attacks, accidents and violence.

Scorpio Constellation bring wealth and success

As every new moon, the November new moon inhabits opportunities for change and progress. Influenced by the stars of the Scorpio Constellation, also known as fixed star Acrab, the Sagittarius moon brings opportunities for promotion, wealth and success. Even though that sounds positive and promising, it is not as easy as it seems! Only those who are conscious and attentive regarding the changes provided by the new moon energy and response with forethought and strategy, will profit from this new moon.

Go within instead of lashing out

Regarding the planetary aspects and fixed star constellation during this new moon the guideline is to go within and think twice before reacting thoughtlessly to any kind of provocation and frustration. Even though you feel like you have to defend yourself, be careful, use forethought and seek guidance. It is highly recommended to take time for yourself to reflect on everything that is happening right now - take long walks, meditate, do yoga or write down your thought. Before lashing out, go within yourself!

You can feel the effects of the November new moon for about four weeks up to the solar eclipse on December 26. The best time for new beginnings and fresh starts is during the first two weeks of this new moon cycle.

Organs Influenced by this New Moon:

Liver, hips, tights, sacrum
