Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra for self-healing!

In these healing sessions, we will use the wholesome and transformative powers of restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra to return to our essence: a healthy, whole, happy being.

In our daily lives we accumulate tension, our heads are full and we can feel the stress in our body. Restorative yoga allows you to completely let go and release the body so it can relax and restore. We use props to support the body so the poses can work in its most beneficial way. Making it suitable for anybody, even when you are physically not feeling well. Restorative yoga is not so much about doing, working, or putting the effort in it. It is about letting go and surrender, being with the stillness. That is where the challenge is. The body can soften and open, space is being created for the energy to flow and the nervous system can balance.

Yoga Nidra is only deepening that state of relaxation and recovery. It is an effortless practice where you lie comfortably and listen to a voice guiding you into a conscious sleep. You will drop into a state
with progressively slower brainwaves, where the body naturally recovers and heals and you find true rest. You will have the benefits of an advanced meditative practice without any effort.

SESSION 1 ๑ Open Up to Inner Peace

In this session, we turn to our inner peace, the silence that is always there amidst the turbulence of life.
The peace within that keeps us balanced no matter how much noise is around us. Confronted with challenges from raising a child and pursuing a career, pressure from you to do and bucket lists, your
goals, and desires, thoughts and emotions are going like crazy. There we pull the plug and let all the craziness float through until we are left with the silence behind it all. We shift from thinking to feeling and from doing into being and we are no longer controlled by our mind. We surrender to complete relaxation.

SESSION 2 ๑ Release Energy and Let It Flow

After we have found stillness and turned to our inside world, we will focus on our Pranamaya Kosha, our energy body. Prana is our life force energy, the body’s healing energy. When we have stilled our minds and we are not consumed by our thoughts and emotions, prana can focus on healing. We will raise the level of energy in our body and let it flow freely, opening up our chakra’s. Then by directing our energy, we can release physical and emotional blocks. Emotions that are repressed or just too much to handle cause energy blocks in our body - think of stress causing physical ailments. Without having to dig into the original problem we can release the energy and let it flow through again.

SESSION 3 ๑ Discover Your Essence

When we have stilled the noise and we are in touch with our feelings and energy, there comes to space to see behind the clutter. Space to look inside and discover your true self. When we let go of
judgment, limiting beliefs and interpretations that affect the way we perceive events and how we react to life, we can see who we really are. We can see ourselves in all our splendor, whole and
connected to our heart. We can live from our purpose, relying on our intuition, our inner compass or wisdom. In that state we are in total balance, our systems are in balance and our body can function

SESSION 4 ๑ Restore, Heal and Transform

Now we are ready to transform. We can plant new impressions and tendencies on how we want to be and interact to change our lives accordingly. We will use Sankalpa, intention, at the most subtle levels of our being. Meaning this seed we plant will grow from a subconscious level, which is far more powerful than only consciously planted. You can transform into being nothing but yourself, a more natural, fuller version of yourself. Whole and healed.
