These special classes on Yoga & Psychology are designed for you to take care of yourself as well as the world around you. Yoga is an integrated framework with a broad range of tools for self-development and change. During the yoga & psychology classes, we will explore principles from yoga philosophy as well as modern psychology. This will help you to bring your awareness to your deepest intentions and ultimately to live in alignment with them.
You will not only develop a deeper understanding of the yogic lifestyle, but also learn practical tools to make change possible. As a result, you will feel empowered to make sustainable changes in your life.
What to expect
We will work on a different theme every month. The classes will guide you through core themes from yoga philosophy. You will experience the meaning of these themes during the yoga practice, which is mainly based on traditional hatha. We will do some gentle sequences, holding the poses for some time and alternating with relaxation. The practice is simple in its form, but helps you to dive deeper by exploring themes from yoga philosophy throughout the class. It is accessible for all levels, no former knowledge or experience is necessary.
About the teacher
Lana Donse is a yoga teacher and psychologist. Yoga, for her, is about an ongoing process of self-development. She is passionate about integrating yoga and psychology and loves to share this process with others, thereby hoping to contribute to a better world.
She specializes in yoga therapy, offering individual yoga sessions and personalized programs for both physical and mental health. Lana graduated in clinical psychology and neuropsychology (MSc.) at Utrecht University. She is affiliated with the Netherlands Institute for Psychologists (NIP). Lana is also a certified yoga teacher. She followed her hatha yoga teacher training at the Arhanta Yoga Ashram in India. She continues her personal and professional development through modules at Svastha Yoga & Ayurveda.

GOOD TO KNOW
» Bring your own mat! Please keep a 1,5-meter distance at all times.
» The check-in closes 2 minutes before the start of each class with no exceptions. Make sure that you’re 10 minutes early to be able to enter, avoid queues and enjoy our classes.
» No face masks during class. We don’t allow face masks in our classrooms since it’s not safe to do your practice wearing one.
» Come fully dressed to ensure easy entry & exit.
» There are no dressing rooms.
» Dress warmly. The weather is getting colder, and ventilation in our classrooms means it can get a bit chilly. Make sure you’re dressed accordingly.
» We don't do refunds. You can cancel a class up to 8 hours before the start time in order to use your ticket again. In case of a later cancellation, you will be charged. Please be mindful when you book a spot as we have limited space available.
