ADE - Cosmic Navigation ๑ Sound Journey & Guided Meditation To Sardinia
A guided sound journey and meditation to the sacred well of Santa Cristina in Sardinia - an ancient site of water worship, built over 3,000 years ago, where the sun aligns with the water during the equinoxes, and where, every 18.6 years, the moon reaches its highest point and its light passes perpendicularly through the tholos to reflect on the water below.
Ton Akkermans sounds the depths with his hand-forged gongs, singing bowls, and chimes - each instrument born from fire and metal in his own forge. Fralalai carries the voice of the ancient island of her ancestors through her harp and enchanting song. Elizabeth Plokker layers live field recordings from the well and ambient soundscapes that evoke the water, the stone, and the silence of the well. Charon Tolhuisen guides the meditation, leading the descent into the sacred chamber and the encounter with what waits there.
A one-hour immersion in sound, story, and stillness.

» This event will take place at Sir Adam Hotel @ THE ADAM TOWER - access via The Butcher Restaurant - go to the first floor - someone will pick you up there // Address: Overhoeksplein 7 Amsterdam >> BRING YOUR OWN MAT/PILLOW/BLANKET (INDULGE)
» The door will be open 20 minutes before the start of your journey.
» The check-in closes 2 minutes before the start of the journey with no exceptions. Make sure that you’re 10-15 minutes early to be able to enter, avoid queues and enjoy our program. Also be mindful of your commute by ferry transit!
» If the door is locked then, unfortunately, you were too late to join the session. We always lock the door 2 minutes before the start to ensure an undisturbed journey, so make sure to be on time.
» Wear something comfortable and warm for the session. Tip: use layers!
» Bring your own (camping) mat, blanket, pillow to this journey (indulge in comfort)
