Vision Quest with Live Harp ๑ Breath Work, Deep Relax Meditation & Harp
On the quest we call life we tend to build up layers.
Through Breath Work & Deep Relax Meditation guided by the healing sounds of the Harp, you will get to access higher realms of awareness, experience a state of ecstasy while clearing out mental, emotional and physical blockages. Afterwards, there is a big chance you feel rejuvenated, often with a new sense of purpose, clarity, new intentions and a new-found connection to your life purpose.
BREATHWORK
We will start each session with the specific breathing exercises of the Wim Hof Method, called ‘controlled hyperventilation or power breathing’, to release your inner fire. Deep and rhythmic inhalations and exhalations will be followed by a retention time, where you hold your breath for a certain amount of time: you will be amazed about the effects, and how long you are actually capable of holding your breath!
These exercises of the Wim Hof Method are proven to have health benefits, both for the body and the mind, by influencing your nervous system and changing various physiological responses. It will lead to more resilience towards everyday stress, mentally and physiology and feeling more in control. Next to that, this deep and powerful breathing can get you in very spiritual state of mind, by giving access to those parts in your brain where you can find DMT, your own ‘homemade’ spiritual access point.
DEEP RELAX MEDITATION
After the powerful Wim Hof breathing exercise, we will slowly blend into the softer part of the session, the Deep Relaxation Meditation, to elevate and deepen your experience.
Join us into a deep and meditative journey, floating between that sleep and the awake state. The journey will take you through all of your layers, to reach your inner truth. Meditation is known for it’s restoring powers. It will help you restore, relax, de-stress, increase your awareness, change bad habits, and eventually understand your true calling and higher purpose. It is an amazing tool to fuse your consciousness with your powerful subconscious and through that, change your life.
GUIDED BY LIVE HARP
The harp is an ancient instrument, having been around since as early as 2500 B.C., that continues to be a major force in the modern-day musical world.
Studies have shown that the harp, its sounds and vibrations, help to lower blood pressure, reduce heart rates, anxiety and pain levels, and bring a sense of calm, inner peace and emotional balance to listeners.
Combined, we believe that these sessions will give you an experience that you will remember for a long time!
ABOUT REIN
The awareness of breath changed Rein’s life at the age of 35. Rein has been asthmatic for a great deal of his life and knows what it is to be not able to breath at one’s full capacity. Then, Rein Sarink came into contact with a practitioner of the Butyko breathing technique. This breathing technique helped him overcome his asthma.
It was very clear when Rein first came into contact with the Wim Hof Method, the breathing technique was very special. So, simple and yet very effective. It brings you right into your physiology and within a few minutes you can feel the enormous impact breathing can have. This breathing technique does not only influence you on your O2 and Co2 level but it also affects your hormonal system, the autonomic nerve system, and the cardiovascular system. As it also has a positive effect on your state of mind—it is a full mind over body experience. Now, as a teacher of the Wim Hof Method, Rein is so excited to teach this powerful method to others and let people feel the impact it can have.
WARNING: This class is unfortunately not suitable for pregnant women. People with breathing difficulties and hyperventilation are welcome to join and will be extra monitored.
ABOUT MARJOLEIN
From a young age, Marjolein Vos always had the strong urge to help others, which led into studying Psychology at the UvA. After her Masters degree, she found herself in an inner struggle. Her studies gave her a lot, but had trained her to be all about the mind, without considering the body. And topics like self love or the soul weren’t even mentioned. That struggle, together with her own spiritual awaking, led to a Burnout.
In that period of darkness, Marjolein discovered Yoga Nidra and Deep Relaxation Meditation and she was instantly hooked! After the first session, she walked out of the studio with new energy, new ideas and a new perspective. Amazed by that powerful change inside her and triggered by her Psychology background, she wanted to know more. More Yoga Nidra sessions followed and through these, she was able to turn that dark period into light.
During her teacher training at the House of Deep Relax she discovered her new passion. Her purpose in life became clear, knowing now how to help others: by using her voice. Every week, she lets herself be inspired by the moment and shares her own stories and lessons, coming straight from the heart.
ABOUT LAURA LOTTI
Laura Lotti is harpist is recognizable by her adventurous and intuitive sounds that lead to surprising sounds. By playing meditative music she explores the calming effects of the harp. At her sessions, it is about inner peace. She improvises from her own existing compositions, where a diverse spectrum of spheres will cross your ears.

GOOD TO KNOW:
» You can find our entrance at the graffiti door. The door will be open 20 minutes before the start of your journey.
» The check-in closes 2 minutes before the start of each journey or ceremony with no exceptions. Make sure that you’re 10 minutes early to be able to enter, avoid queues and enjoy our program.
» If the door is locked then, unfortunately, you were too late to join the session. We always lock the door 2 minutes before the start to ensure an undisturbed journey, so make sure to be on time.
» Please put your phone on airplane mode during the journey and don't bring it onto the mat. You are welcome to leave any valuable items secured at our reception desk.
» Dress warmly. We are located in a warehouse, so that means it can get a bit chilly. Make sure you’re dressed accordingly. Tip: use layered clothing.
» Unfortunately we don't do refunds. You can’t cancel an event, or ceremony but you can cancel a journey up to 8 hours before the start time in order to use your ticket again. In case of a later cancellation, you will be charged. Please be mindful when you book a spot as we have limited space available.
