Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate mixed with boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport.
Kickboxing is a fast-paced way to train your body and your mind. In this class you’ll either work with a partner or use punching bags to practice several different self-defense moves.

WHY KICKBOXING IS GOOD FOR YOU
The simplest and best way to relieve stress is to get some exercise! When your heart rate gets going and you are exercising your body releases endorphins. These are your brains “I feel good” neurotransmitters and tells your body to feel amazing. This is also why after exercise many of us often do feel amazing! Endorphins also allow you to sleep better and to just be overall happier.

Kickboxing requires you to often focus on a specific body movement, or breathing pattern which is a very similar response you would have when meditating or practicing yoga – activities that are proven to reduce stress. Another benefit, is that kickboxing allows you to forget all of your problems for the time you are training. You will often find yourself becoming completely immersed in your class and forgetting the bad day you might have had before it.

GEAR & EXTRA INFO
Please bring your own gear and gloves! We have 6 sets of boxing gloves and shin guards, so only for those few that don't have own gear yet.

This class is suitable for all ability levels, high in intensity and our instructors are specially trained to work with you, regardless of whether you’re a beginner or a pro!

Please make sure you arrive at least 10 minutes before the class begins so you have time to put your gear on. This class is on your bare feet, so no need for special shoes. Punching bags may or may not be used depending on the group size and level.

GOOD TO KNOW
» Bring your own mat! Please keep a 1,5-meter distance at all times.

» The check-in closes 2 minutes before the start of each class with no exceptions. Make sure that you’re 10 minutes early to be able to enter, avoid queues and enjoy our classes.

» No face masks during class. We don’t allow face masks in our classrooms since it’s not safe to do your practice wearing one.

» Come fully dressed to ensure easy entry & exit.

» There are no dressing rooms.

» Dress warmly. The weather is getting colder, and ventilation in our classrooms means it can get a bit chilly. Make sure you’re dressed accordingly.

» We don't do refunds. You can cancel a class up to 8 hours before the start time in order to use your ticket again. In case of a later cancellation, you will be charged. Please be mindful when you book a spot as we have limited space available.
