As an ancient art of “Moving Meditation', Qi Gong 氣功 has its roots in Taoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine. With a focus on creating self-awareness and self-care in the body and mind, it cultivates Qi 氣, the internal energy flow through the meridians in the body.
With slow, smooth and deep breathing, the body moves as an integrated unit, through continuous, curved and spiral movements to reduce stress, release pain and create whole body harmony. Also, it invites us to explore the connection between the internal body and the external environment for a dynamic balance.

Kickboxing Intensive ๑ Kickboxing - Yoga - Breath Work

The simplest and best way to relieve stress is to get some exercise! When your heart rate gets going and you are exercising your body releases endorphins. These are your brains “I feel good” neurotransmitters and tells your body to feel amazing. This is also why after exercise many of us often do feel amazing! Endorphins also allow you to sleep better and to just be overall happier.

Kickboxing requires you to often focus on a specific body movement, or breathing pattern which is a very similar response you would have when meditating or practicing yoga – activities that are proven to reduce stress. Another benefit, is that kickboxing allows you to forget all of your problems for the time you are training. You will often find yourself becoming completely immersed in your class and forgetting the bad day you might have had before it.

In this Kickboxing Intensive we focus on all assets of kickboxing, which includes some yoga stretches and breath work.

WHAT IS KICKBOXING
Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate mixed with boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport.

Kickboxing is a fast-paced way to train your body and your mind. In this class you’ll either work with a partner or use punching bags to practice several different self-defense moves.

GEAR & EXTRA INFO:
We have 16 sets of boxing gloves and shin guards, but if you already own your own you are more than welcome to bring them.

This class is suitable for all ability levels, high in intensity and our instructors are specially trained to work with you, regardless of whether you’re a beginner or a pro!

Please make sure you arrive at least 10 minutes before the class begins so you have time to put your gear on. This class is on your bare feet, so no need for special shoes.

Kickboxing Intensive ๑ Kickboxing - Yoga - Breath Work

The simplest and best way to relieve stress is to get some exercise! When your heart rate gets going and you are exercising your body releases endorphins. These are your brains “I feel good” neurotransmitters and tells your body to feel amazing. This is also why after exercise many of us often do feel amazing! Endorphins also allow you to sleep better and to just be overall happier.

Kickboxing requires you to often focus on a specific body movement, or breathing pattern which is a very similar response you would have when meditating or practicing yoga – activities that are proven to reduce stress. Another benefit, is that kickboxing allows you to forget all of your problems for the time you are training. You will often find yourself becoming completely immersed in your class and forgetting the bad day you might have had before it.

In this Kickboxing Intensive we focus on all assets of kickboxing, which includes some yoga stretches and breath work.

WHAT IS KICKBOXING
Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate mixed with boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport.

Kickboxing is a fast-paced way to train your body and your mind. In this class you’ll either work with a partner or use punching bags to practice several different self-defense moves.

GEAR & EXTRA INFO:
We have 16 sets of boxing gloves and shin guards, but if you already own your own you are more than welcome to bring them.

This class is suitable for all ability levels, high in intensity and our instructors are specially trained to work with you, regardless of whether you’re a beginner or a pro!

Please make sure you arrive at least 10 minutes before the class begins so you have time to put your gear on. This class is on your bare feet, so no need for special shoes.

As an ancient art of “Moving Meditation', Qi Gong 氣功 has its roots in Taoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine. With a focus on creating self-awareness and self-care in the body and mind, it cultivates Qi 氣, the internal energy flow through the meridians in the body.

The simplest and best way to relieve stress is to get some exercise! When your heart rate gets going and you are exercising your body releases endorphins. These are your brains “I feel good” neurotransmitters and tells your body to feel amazing. This is also why after exercise many of us often do feel amazing! Endorphins also allow you to sleep better and to just be overall happier.

Kickboxing requires you to often focus on a specific body movement, or breathing pattern which is a very similar response you would have when meditating or practicing yoga – activities that are proven to reduce stress. Another benefit, is that kickboxing allows you to forget all of your problems for the time you are training. You will often find yourself becoming completely immersed in your class and forgetting the bad day you might have had before it.

In this Kickboxing Intensive we focus on all assets of kickboxing, which includes some yoga stretches and breath work.

The simplest and best way to relieve stress is to get some exercise! When your heart rate gets going and you are exercising your body releases endorphins. These are your brains “I feel good” neurotransmitters and tells your body to feel amazing. This is also why after exercise many of us often do feel amazing! Endorphins also allow you to sleep better and to just be overall happier.

Kickboxing requires you to often focus on a specific body movement, or breathing pattern which is a very similar response you would have when meditating or practicing yoga – activities that are proven to reduce stress. Another benefit, is that kickboxing allows you to forget all of your problems for the time you are training. You will often find yourself becoming completely immersed in your class and forgetting the bad day you might have had before it.

In this Kickboxing Intensive we focus on all assets of kickboxing, which includes some yoga stretches and breath work.

A great session to restore body & mind!

Elemental Tai Chi ๑ Integrate Your Mind & Body

Each month, we take you on another journey guided by the powers of the four elements. Discover the basics of Tai Chi at The Conscious Club, and learn to shape your spirit through this traditional Chinese Martial Arts form. The classes will be divided into four different themes: Earth, Air, Water & Fire.

1. EARTH
First, we will meet the basic principle that is the foundation of Tai Chi and Chi Kung. It is called "Song". This means to surrender to earth's power. We will learn to use the force of gravity to charge ourselves with Ying Chi. This is a form of Chi which strengthens our health and gives shape to our spirit.
This may sound complex but in the exercises, we will discover this to very easy, fun and amazingly uplifting.

2. AIR
In this session, we will focus on the phenomena of spirit. A force that goes up and gives us meaning to live. The spirit creates space in our bodies and being. People with a background in Yoga will find this very inspiring. The exercises are simple but powerfully grounding and opening.

3. WATER
Now that our fundamentals are clear and we have been playing with concepts, such as, "Song Chi", "Ying Chi", "Peng Chi", we will explore the power of water. Power of connection and communication. Ability to sense and neutralize. In easy movements we will learn about neutralizing the force from the outside by others, to bring this in our energetic center, called Dan Tian and be unmoved by it. Also, this may sound complex at first but by doing the playful and gentle exercises you will surely find out about your power and strength. The power of the feminine.

4. FIRE
Now being content in ourselves, our energetic center full and strong, we can be subtle and soft with ourselves and the environment. But also we can be full of fire! Tai Chi is, in essence, a martial art based on the I Ching, book of change and the ancient Daoist principles. Now we learn to stay soft but strong and also learn to be EXPLOSIVE without losing ourselves, always in order to neutralize uncentered strength, towards emptiness
