Ayurvedic Masterclass ๑ Ayurveda for Women's Health
Ayurveda is a holistic health care system that gives us the wisdom to ride the ever-changing waves of life successfully. It evolved in India thousands of years ago yet is still as relevant in our lives today. Ayurveda has always regarded a women’s menstrual cycle with great importance and reverence. It uniquely examines the menstrual cycle as a window into the human body giving us insight into our physical and mental wellbeing. Ayurveda encourages us to lean into the wisdom of mother nature. It teaches us about the different phases of our cycle and how to live in rhythm with them. By being in tune with your cycle you can clearly understand what imbalances your body might be struggling with. As we cycle through hormonal shifts and changes we need to learn how to shift and flow with our hormones so we can allow our bodies to thrive. We forget that a vibrant state of health is both natural and accessible.
Many women today are living with some level of recurring discomfort and this is reflected in the menstrual cycle and in menopause. Cyclical symptoms like mood swings, cravings, tender breasts, bloating, cramps, exhaustion, and moodiness are so common that most women today don’t realize that it’s possible to have a menstrual cycle come and go with ease. Imbalances that linger over time will reflect in the menopausal transition as well. Night sweats, mood swings, insomnia—these may be seen as inevitable experiences. Many accept the symptoms of imbalance as something normal—as simply part of being a woman. But what’s normal isn’t necessarily what’s natural.
Menstrual and menopausal difficulties can be resolved naturally through the practice of Ayurveda. By assisting you to reconnect with your natural rhythms, Ayurveda provides tools to gain a deeper understanding of your feminine nature. In this workshop, we will discuss how you can start to live in rhythm with your cycle. You will learn how to eat and care for yourself during the different phases of your cycle and how to create a platform of vitality in your menstrual health no matter where you are in the cycle of your life.
