Cool Power ๑ Experience The Wim Hof Method & Ice Bath
Learn the 3 pillars of the Wim Hof Method from a certified trainer in the WHM. Breathing, cold exposure and commitment will give you an experience that is unique for the WHM. You will learn how to optimise your body and mind on a daily basis just by using these 3 elements.
The breathing technique in the WHM is very powerful and usually the unexpected element. For those who come on a regular basis to the breathing meditations at The Conscious Club already know how powerful this is. But why and how this breathing can help you to fix your mental and/or physical state will be further explained and experienced during this workshop.
‘The Cold is my warm friend’ as Wim Hof tends to say. But what does this mean? Why torture yourself with cold showers? Well coldness is a very powerful element in nature in which we always respond to when it hits the body. How you cope with cold exposure and what happens inside your body and why this is beneficial, we will explain during this workshop.
At the end of the workshop you can try our ice-bath. Go in completely or just with your legs, that is up to you. Thus, our ice-bath is optional!
Commitment is the third element of the WHM. Without commitment, going into the cold and doing breath-work, it will be very hard. If you have the commitment to fully focus during the breath-work and cold exposure, you will be able to master your own body and mind.
This workshop is suitable for everyone, but requires a basic level of health. Out of precaution we advise against participation during pregnancy and when you are epileptic. Do you have serious health issues then we will advise you to contact a health professional to advise you whether you should participate in the workshop.
