Full Strawberry Moon in Capricorn
This Full Moon on the 28th of June is also called The Full Strawberry Moon. This colorful name is closely linked with the spread of warmer weather across the Northern Hemisphere. According to some this moon marked the best time of year to harvest wild fruit. Many different tribes have different names for this Full Moon. For example the Cherokee coined this moon as the Green Corn Moon because this was the time of year when fresh corn ears grow best.
A full moon occurs when the Sun is opposite to the Moon. This highlights opposing forces or polarities in your life such as your work versus home, or what you need versus what you want. Inner tension and external pressures can lead to personal conflict and crises that drain your energy. Your home, family and intimate relationships comes into sharper focus following a full moon.
"The lunar qualities of emotions and instincts reach their peak at a full moon. Use you increased emotional strength and intuition to overcome any relationship challenges. Subconscious awareness allows for an impartial and balanced look at your personal relationships. You will clearly see any relationship dynamics or negative feelings causing disharmony." - ForeverConscious
A full moon always has a relationship to the previous new Moon which means that your new moon goals on the 13th of June can now be fine-tuned and completed. This is the perfect moment to make emotional adjustments in response to those new goals.
Capricorn is the typical earth sign; grounded, stable and hard working. Capricorn is represented by the mountain goat. If you have ever seen a mountain goat, you would know that it has the ability to climb high and perch itself on precarious rock ledges, all while keeping perfect balance.
This is the perfect analogy for the energy of Capricorn and for this Full Moon. This sign can be seen as reliable, focused-driven and very hard to throw off balance. It's all about staying grounded and rooted in who you are. From here you can aim high and reach the top of your very own mountain.
The energy surrounding this Full Moon might feel a bit heavy on our shoulders. On the opposite side, this energy can also remind us that we can achieve anything and we can get through anything. Even if times feel a bit hard and difficult, this Full Moon in Capricorn is here to help you out. All we need to do is trust our own strength and ability to succeed. From there we can achieve anything we set our minds too!
Because Capricorn's energy is very determined and strong willed, finding this achievement becomes more into reach. Just like the mountain goat we are being reminded to keep on climbing even if things seem a little tough.
"Just like the mountain goat trusts its footing, we too have to trust that wherever we are is exactly where we need to be." - ForeverConscious
During this Full Moon we are practically forced to confront our problems. Whatever lessons we have needed to master over the last few months, they will be delivered to us so we can tackle them once and for all.
This might seem scary but because we have Capricorn's energy on our side things are made more easy. This might bring up some of anxiety but let your faith be bigger than your fear. We have to be willing to face up to whatever lessons the Universe sends our way.
Once the energy of this Full Moon begins to settle and we head into the Solar Eclipse of July, we are going to feel far more at ease with where we are heading. For now, we just have to trust that all is well. No matter what comes up for you around this Full Moon, don’t be despaired or discouraged. Your hard work will pay off in the long run, so keep motivated and know that the only way out is through.
